Rose macarons
I love these rose macarons. This treat is perfect as a little gift.
Recipe for 25 macarons:
90g finely ground almonds
120 g icing sugar
2 egg whites
20g rosesugar
some food coloring
a pinch of salt
For the filling:
120g soft butter
80g icing sugar
2 tablespoons of rose water
Put the egg whites and the salt in a bowl and beat until the mixture gets pale and fluffy. Slowly add the sugar and beat to dissolve the sugar. When the mixture is firm add the food coloring. Finally stir in the almonds and the icing sugar. Fill the mixture in a piping bag with a round nozzle. Make spots with a diameter of 3cm on a baking parchment. Let them dry for 10-20 minutes before you put them in the oven. Preheat the oven to 150° Celsius. Bake the macarons for 12 minutes. Take them out and let them cool down.
Beat the butter until it is pale and fluffy. Slowly add the icing sugar and the rose water. If needed add some food coloring. Fill the macarons with the buttercream. And enjoy them!
