Watermelon Pizza
Watermelons are great. Watermelons are even better if you're a food photographer. I really love their combination of strong pink and greens.
Watermelon pizzas are not only easy to prepare, but also look great (doesn't matter what you top them with). It's also an easy way to eat some healthy snack / dessert and share it with your friends (or especially kids).
This is such a refreshing treat, especially during hot summer days!
Recipe:
- 1/2 Watermelon
- 1 Coconut Yoghurt
- 1/2 a banana
- strawberries
- blueberries
- cherries
- frozen rasperries
- some mint leaves
Cut your watermelon in slices of 1-2 cm. Top the slices with the cocnut yoghurt, fruits, berries and mint leaves. Of course you can also add any other fruit and topping you like. I sprinkled some matcha powder on top. But you can really try whatever you like (for example chocolate sauce, roasted nuts, coconutblossom syrup, etc.)
